The State Hospital Research Committee is more than just the hospital’s governance body for Research and R&D access. The committee aims to support, encourage and promote research, and to ensure the quality and dissemination of research projects associated with the State Hospital.

The publication of peer reviewed journal articles is a key aspect of the dissemination of research findings, and supports an evidence based culture aimed at improving both patient care and the patient experience of care, though a focus on continuously improving practice.
